Going green?

Hey guys,

We are in talks with Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) on a possible partnership to make this event a green one.

Some of the first thoughts on this effort is to only make use of existing trails for this event (no cutting of new trails) to preserve as best as we can our rainforest. Another immediate effort we can impose is a strict ban on plastic bottles in the forest trails.. Also, if you are in support of this "go green" initiative, show up in green on the race day!

Do share your thoughts on how we can all make this event a greener one. We want to enjoy mother nature, explore it, run through it, experience it, but at the same time, ensure our footprints do no damage..

What do you think of going green?

The Genting Trailblazer is an annual a no-holds-barred sporting event that combines the adrenaline rush of adventure racing with the intensity of trail running. Contestants run in teams of two through an unpredictable course over three very different terrains; rugged jungle paths, asphalt stretches and muddy trails. Apart from the challenging natural landscape, teams will also be put through a gruelling man-made obstacle course that features, among other things, a massive mud pond. Staying clean is definitely not an option.

Which run category would you choose?
